Job Requirements
Some working knowledge regarding managing compliance with OSHA, EPA, ADEM, TSCA, DOT, CA Prop65, DOT/FRA rules and regulations. Three (3) to five (5) years of compliance experience. In which they were responsible for managing the regulatory requirements of compliance. An understanding of the basic requirements of EPA s TSCA, SARA Title II and III programs, the Clean Water Act (NPDES), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA). The ability or the capacity to quickly learn how to prepare/submit: Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) Electronic Discharge Monitoring Reports using the ADEM reporting computer system. How to compile data needed for Tier2 and TRI annual reports. Proven experience conducting incident and accident investigations, Root Cause Failure Analysis and implementation of corrective and/or preventative actions. Knowledge of OSHA Recordkeeping rules (IAITA, OSHA 300). Experience working at an ISO-9001, ISO-14001 certified company. Very strong Microsoft Office skills: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Basic understanding of Process Safety Management: Employee Training Management of Change Developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures Conducting Pre-Start Up Safety Reviews and/or Job Hazard Analysis Hot Work Programs Emergency Planning and Response Compliance Audits Understanding of how to perform regulatory research and interpretation.
