Overview: We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer specializing in mass finishing and vibratory equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles with specific expertise in designing and optimizing processes related to mass finishing and vibratory equipment applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, and performance in manufacturing processes. Responsibilities: 1. Process Design and Optimization: o Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for mass finishing and vibratory equipment. o Conduct feasibility studies and design experiments to improve process efficiency and product quality. o Implement process improvements based on analysis and evaluation of current procedures. 2. Equipment Selection and Integration: o Oversee the installation, commissioning, and integration of new equipment into existing manufacturing processes. o Conduct performance testing and validation of new equipment to ensure functionality and efficiency. 3. Quality Control and Assurance: o Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor product quality during manufacturing processes. o Analyze and resolve quality issues. o Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve overall product quality and consistency. 4. Cross-functional Collaboration: o Work closely with manufacturing, production, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless process integration. o Collaborate with design engineers to provide input on product design for manufacturability. o Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on process improvements and project milestones. 5. Documentation and Reporting: o Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, equipment specifications, and quality control procedures. o Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. o Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in process engineering. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment selection, and process optimization techniques. Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools (e.G., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in manufacturing.
