Perform the essential functions required to safely move vehicles throughout the customers property in preparation for shipment. Associates designated as Senior/Lead Vehicle Shuttlers have mastered the skills required of a Vehicle Shuttler and are able to perform essentially error-free work without direct supervision.
Expectation: We expect all associates to be committed to a high standard of safety, be willing and able to comply with all safety policies/rules and willing to report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory personnel. Individuals performing this function must not pose a direct threat or significant risk of substantial harm to the safety or health of himself/herself or others. Job Performance without equipment damage is essential to meeting our customers safety, quality and production requirements.
Responsibilities: Comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures; Conduct Vehicle inventory; Where applicable assist in the operation of a tag/rinse vehicle wash facility; Drive manual and standard transmission motor vehicles, at all times, in accordance with company and customer instructions/procedures; Drive vehicles to proper parking bay by assigned route; Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such a level as in determined by the company s sole discretion; Perform housekeeping duties as required by site management; Must be able to work mandatory overtime hours when operating requirements or other business needs of Road & Rail cannot be fulfilled during regular business hours;

Requirements: - Driver's License is REQUIRED. Non-negotiable. - Must be able to safely and effectively operate a vehicle. - Must be able to accurately perform job requirements per shift. - Must be MBUSI eligible.
Skills, Licenses, Certification, and/or Special Training: Must maintain a valid state driver s license if required to operate company equipment; Must be able to safely operate vehicles with either a standard and/or automatic transmission; Meet and maintain all requirements contained in the Conditions of Employment policy. Physical, Mental & Sensory Requirements: Ability to constantly work in an indoor/outdoor environment, exposed to all weather elements, including extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions; In locations that operate a tag/rinse facility; ability to frequently be exposed to conditions of airborne water vapor and condensation; Constantly required to use bending, kneeling, twisting and walking motions to enter/exit vehicles and shuttle vans; Possess physical strength and agility to constantly open and close automobile doors throughout shift; Constantly perform prolonged standing and/or walking at a rapid pace to keep up with demands of plant operations up to 5 miles in an 12 hour shift; Ability to read Vehicle Identification Numbers and other shipping documents; Must be able to hear and communicate, work or safety instructions spoken in a normal voice; Must have visual acuity and normal depth perception in both eyes to inspect and drive motor vehicles in limited lighting to include night/dusk and inside plant operations. Ability to communicate tele-phonically with two-way radios; Must be able to work independently; Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment; Must be able to walk on a moving assembly line belt.
