This is primarily a relational selling and customer service role with very limited cold calling.

Travel: 25%, 2 weeks at a time

Compensation: Straight salary 80-100K, after 1 year of employment, eligible for profit sharing paid out in November and April. Relocation package included.

Our client is a global leader in insect screen, solar control fabrics, drawn wire, engineered products, and specialty fabrics, the company was founded in 1952 and remains family-owned. An opening is currently available in the Tuscaloosa office for an International Sales Representative (Latin America), requiring fluent Spanish, 25% travel in the region, and full-time, in-person work at corporate headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Will have expert knowledge of the company's capabilities and product portfolio
2. Will maintain pricing and terms of sales as directed for the assigned sales territory
3. Will perform sales activities according to export regulation compliance
4. Will provide prompt customer service to customer inquiries, including order entry, quotations, sampling and product knowledge
5. Will provide “voice of the customer” for creation of new products, product improvements and complaints
6. Will respond to customer complaints, issue corrective actions and/or processing of billing corrections and credits
7. Will respond to email, website and phone inquiries
8. Will create monthly sales reports for the assigned sales territory
9. Will plan and travel internationally to the assigned sales territory
10. Will be able to travel internationally, including solo trips to multiple countries for periods
of up to two weeks, as required.
11. Will plan and attend international trade show and trade missions
12. Will host international customers and prospects for office visits and plant tours
13. Will monitor and report to management on competitor activities
14. Will provide customer and country information to Credit Management
15. Will monitor regional and country political and economic risks
16. Will translate and/or edit foreign language advertising and promotional media and website development
