Position Summary:

  • The company is seeking a non-commission Field Sales Representative based in Tuscaloosa, AL
  • Responsible for selling and marketing products to current and prospective customers across a multi-state territory in the Midwest
  • Travel required approximately 3–4 days per week for 2–3 weeks per month, with occasional weekend work

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop expert knowledge of the company’s capabilities, product portfolio, customers, competitors, and markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers through exceptional service and product knowledge
  • Travel within assigned Midwest territory to support and grow customer base
  • Communicate with customers, distributors, agents, and prospects regarding product information, pricing, order status, and credit status
  • Collaborate with internal teams on product specifications, costing, packaging, and order/shipment updates
  • Coordinate and participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and dealer events
  • Identify and pursue new customers and market opportunities
  • Host visiting customers and prospects for meetings and tours
  • Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner
  • Coordinate product and sales training for customers and their sales teams

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field from an accredited university
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High energy, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ethical principles
  • Previous sales experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
