Location: Hamilton, OH
Pay Rate: $31.00/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team and support the operation and maintenance of industrial machinery and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Install power supply wiring and conduit for new machinery, including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers.
Connect power supply wires to machines and integrate cables between equipment.
Inspect wiring and fixtures for compliance with specifications and local electrical codes.
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning apparatus, including transformers, motors, and lighting systems.
Replace faulty electrical and electronic components such as relays, switches, and motors.
Rewire and perform maintenance on electric motors, including bearing replacement.
Program and test automated machinery via programmable controllers to verify repairs.
Analyze and resolve electrical problems; assist team members with troubleshooting.
Plan layouts and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components as needed.
Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
Education & Experience: Technical school degree or equivalent, or 4–10 years of related experience/training. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are considered.
License: Must possess a valid Master Electrician License.
Technical Skills: Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical procedures, blueprints, and regulations. Strong problem-solving skills and practical reasoning required.
Mathematical Skills: Proficiency with basic geometry, trigonometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and statistical concepts as applied to maintenance tasks.
Physical Requirements:
Regular use of hands and arms for handling tools and equipment.
Ability to sit, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed.
Lift/move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 10 pounds occasionally.
Must have adequate vision and depth perception for detailed work.
