Night Shift Superintendent We are looking for a dynamic and flexible candidate to fill this role. Essential Functions: Promote a world-class safety culture through a behavior-based observation program and hands-on coaching and incident investigation. Raise housekeeping and safety awareness by developing and implementing standards and conducting regular inspections. Develop and oversee the training plan for hourly workforce, ensuring all operators certifications/qualifications are current. Develop Shift Supervisors to provide consistent supervision, enforce plant rules/policies, and conduct annual performance reviews. Track, develop, and report monthly on shift and overall production performance. Gain process knowledge to drive improvements in cycle times, downtime, and usage/yields. Provide leadership in implementing and ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Ensure timely follow-up and closure of production corrective action items. Ensure initial incident investigations are completed and documented by the shift supervisor and properly handed over. Review daily shift performance with each supervisor to identify variances and drive corrective actions. Collaborate with production engineers and process supervisors to plan and minimize potential problems. Review maintenance backlog and prioritize work with maintenance teams. Ensure accurate completion of all logs before the end of each shift. Address cross-shift issues including coverage, vacation scheduling, overtime assignments, and training consistently across all shifts. Ensure all processes have adequate Level 3 to 5 training materials and that training plans are executed in a timely manner. Maintain all necessary regulatory records. Perform other duties as assigned. Work Environment: Manufacturing plant with extreme temperature fluctuations. Dusty and noisy environment with exposure to odors and fumes. Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Positive, action-oriented behavior. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Understanding of OSHA, DOT, labor, and other federal regulations. Demonstrated supervisory, organizational, interpersonal, computer, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Willingness to work a flexible schedule. Education and Experience: High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor s degree preferred. 5 years experience in a dynamic production environment. Supervisory skills required.
