Position Summary

The Production Control Manager is responsible for the overall success of the Parts Control Section. This role provides leadership for production control, supply chain coordination, inventory management, supplier performance, forecasting, and ERP system processes while ensuring department goals and company objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Enforce company policies, business plans, and budget targets.
• Supervise and ensure appropriate training for Administrators and ASM staff.
• Ensure Associate Relations responsibilities are properly carried out, including timekeeping, disciplinary actions, and section meetings.
• Ensure proper department workload balancing.
• Oversee overall supply chain forecasting, supplier releases, and accuracy.
• Manage inventory control activities, including cycle counting, physical inventories, month-end inventory levels, and troubleshooting inventory variances.
• Oversee company QAD activities, including system processes and auto-ordering.
• Monitor and improve overall supplier delivery performance.
• Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of PPC data and the Design Change Database.
• Provide timely support for new model launches and build-out activities.
• Use Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, effectively.
• Meet strict deadlines while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, open environment.
• Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Provide strong leadership, team development, and staff support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of relevant manufacturing industry experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Experience working with an ERP system is required.
• Strong knowledge of production control, supply chain, inventory management, and supplier performance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership and staff development skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
